Acquisition Cost

Software Licence Charge (charges quoted exclude VAT)
£1,000.00 sterling for up to 5 users with a further cost of £100.00 for each additional user above that level.

Implementation Cost

Experience with past implementation shows that clients need to allow between one and three days for asistance with Data Conversion and Import, Document Design and initial Training services. The costs relating to these activities is based upon a reduced rate of £250.00 per day, although there are particular circumstances when these might be offset against the Licence Charge. The following comments are pertinent in respect of these activities.

Data Conversion and Import
Populating Orbitall with data from any existing data sources which provide easily retrieved information in a suitable format, such as Excel workbook or CSV (comma separated values). It has, however, also been possible to extract data from sources which are in a proprietary format but which export content in a "logical" format that can be "interpreted".

Document Design
Orbitall uses certain features of MS-Word to provide flexibility in the design of documents (e.g. sales order picking, note, advice note, invoice and more) that can be Printed. This permits each client to reflect their own identity through their busines documentation. Consequently this may require efforts to include graphics, integrate pre-printed stationery or simply adjust fonts, page orientation or other settings related to the model documents for your site. If a member of your staff has expertise in using MS-Word and in particular the Bookmarks feature, this could easily be handled internally and remove any need for our involvement in any future amendments.

Training
All users generally appreciate the prospect of receiving either group based or individual training in any new application. Depending upon the number of users and the breadth of their activities in the business the single day that is implicit in the stated implementation cost may or may not be entirely adequate. If your business requires more than 3 users to have a good depth of knowledge then you might need to budget for a further one or two days additional cost which, during implementation, would be charged at the same rate quoted above.

Support
Clients receive 90 days free support from date of implementation, including remote assistance where necessary.

It is testimony to the robust nature of our business software that none of our clients currently has a formal support contract with us! All are happy to incur an hourly charge for the provision of support that for most of our clients means they have incurred zero cost in this respect. Our main involvement for those clients that do incur costs of this nature relates to the resolution of network and Windows authority issues and the provision of reinforcement for training provided to new staff and those changing roles within the business.

We are most willing to discuss formal support arrangements with clients after the completion of the 90 day period following implementation should any client wish to pursue that option.

On the very rare occassions where clients have encountered a "problem" that has been identified as a "bug" then fixes are issued without any charge being levied.

Updates
Our business solution is under constant development our clients are provided with an option to "upgrade" without any charge for the 6 month period following implementation.

Upgrading to later versions of Sage is easily achieved, but does require replacement of the installed executable on each PC.

As a consequence individual PC registration settings, easily available to clients via this web site, will also need alteration.

Support charges will be incurred if we assist in these latter activities.
