Product List Window

Lists products with options to filter content according to a combination of criteria comprising product status as well as various attributes such as category, prefix code or including some text value within the description.

Product List Action List

Business functionality is provided through the product action list that users access by double-clicking on a particular product code displayed in the Product column:

Flag ReplacementIdentify the alternative active product that is a replacement for this product.
Inventory Transaction EditManually enter an inventory transaction that will be added to the audit trail and adjust the inventory position (for product associated with a defined unit-of-measure, batch identifier and warehouse location).
LinksAssociate a file that is a word document (doc), recognised image (gif, jpg or png) or PDF format that is to be identified as the product drawing, image or manufacturing test/inspection sheet.
NewAdd a product record to the database.
Process Instructions - CopyCopy the process instructions for a product and associate them with a second product to reduce data entry requirement for the second product.
Process Instructions - DeleteDelete the recorded process instructions for this product.
Process Instructions - EditDefine the operational steps that reflect the production process.
Process Instructions - PrintPrint a copy of the process instructions.
Product MemoShow the extended description for the product.
Production OrdersDisplay the Works Order List with a filter condition set to restrict content to those raised for this product.
Production Receipt
Raise Production OrderDisplay the data entry window that the user may complete to add one or more new production requests for the product.
ReactivateReverse the obsolete flag for this product - available if this setting is true.
Sales OrdersDisplay the Sales Order List with a filter condition set to restrict content to those that include this product.
ShowDisplay an alert message that details the data values relating to the product.
Structure - CopyCopy the bill-of-material for a product and associate it with a second product to reduce data entry requirement for the second product.
Structure - DeleteDelete the bill-of-material associated with this product.
Structure - EditMaintain the bill-of-material (list of components or recipe ingredients) for this product.
Structure - FullMapShow an alert message detailing the complete list of sub-assemblies and raw material that are included in all lower levels of this product bill-of-material.
